Broccoli Slaw

This is so easy to make and so versatile.  This recipe is enough for the week.  You can have it as a side, add diced chicken to it for a complete meal or use inside deli meat (of course all natural) to make roll ups.  There are many different ways to make it too, be creative.  If you get the Trader Joes brand it’s all organic and only $1.99 for a bag.  There’s also a recipe on the back for the slaw, mine is close but not the same.

1 12 oz bag of broccoli slaw

1/4 c. organic dried cranberries

1 organic granny smith apple, diced

1/4 c. raw sliced almonds

4-6 tablespoons olive oil

Juice of one lemon

Cayenne pepper

  1. Mix all ingredients except the cayenne pepper in a mixing bowl.
  2. Sprinkle cayenne pepper on top.

You can add the cayenne to the coleslaw too but it’s too much heat for our little one so I put on top of my own.

Enjoy!
